AIHA EVENT CODE OF CONDUCT
Alberta’s Industrial Heartland Association (“AIHA”) is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for all attendees, speakers, exhibitors, staff, and volunteers. This policy outlines the standard of conduct expected of everyone attending or otherwise participating in an AIHA event.
By purchasing a ticket or participating in the event, attendees agree to:
- Treat fellow attendees, speakers, staff, volunteers, and venue personnel with courtesy and respect.
- Engage in discussion, questions, and debate in a constructive manner without shouting over, interrupting, or otherwise disrupting sessions, presentations, or networking activities.
- Follow the reasonable directions of conference staff, venue personnel, and volunteers, including directions related to venue safety, security, venue capacity, and event operations.
- Refrain from behaviour that is disruptive, threatening, harassing, or otherwise interferes with another individual’s enjoyment of the event.
Signs, placards, bullhorns, amplified devices, and other items or activities intended to disrupt the event are not permitted.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in one or more of the following:
- A verbal warning and request to cease the behaviour;
- Removal from a specific session or area of the venue;
- Expulsion from the conference without refund and/or;
- Denial of entry to future events AIHA events.
AIHA, through its authorized representatives, reserves the right to determine, in its reasonable discretion, whether behaviour violates this policy and to take appropriate action to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all participants.

By attending our event you grant Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association and its licensees the right to use your image or likeness in any photo or video content gathered by Alberta's Industrial Heartland Association for promotional or related purposes.
